MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Lynx say there has been a different edge in training camp this season after they fell short in their quest to repeat as WNBA champions.

The Lynx steamrolled through the regular season last year, but lost to Indiana in their second straight appearance in the finals. Now the core of Seimone Augustus, Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen and Rebekkah Brunson is back for another run.

Center Taj McWilliams-Franklin has been replaced by Janel McCarville in the only change to the starting lineup.

Moore says the team is trying to strike a balance between being happy with the success of two straight runs to the finals while also being determined to finish the job again this year.

The Lynx open the regular season June 1 against Connecticut.
