RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Martin teenager has been indicted for murder in Bennett County.

The Rapid City Journal reports that 17-year-old Matthew Libby is being charged as an adult in the Nov. 8 murder of Albert Apple Sr.

The Bennett County States Attorney's Office says Libby was indicted this week for first-degree murder, first-degree burglary and second-degree robbery.

Authorities say an autopsy showed that Apple was killed by severe blunt force trauma to his head.

The investigation is ongoing.
