AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — A brief look at the Masters that starts April 8. It's the quickest turnaround in Masters history. The tournament starts 144 days after Dustin Johnson won by five shots at a record 20-under 268.

The field is set with 89 players unless someone who's not eligible wins the Texas Open. Tiger Woods won't be playing as he recovers from injuries from a car crash in Los Angeles.

Only three amateurs are in the field. Only three professionals are playing the Masters for the first time. But there are 13 players who made their debut in November. Johnson is the favorite and is trying to become only the fourth player to repeat.

There are plenty of stories about shots hit in November that wouldn't turn out as well in firm conditions expected in April. Max Homa says players realize they'll be playing an entirely different golf course. But he says they will be able to figure it out no matter what test Augusta National presents.
