MIAMI (AP) — Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has signed a four-year, $77.7 million extension that runs through 2020.

Tannehill set career highs last season with 4,045 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and a 92.8 passer rating. He's the first quarterback from the 2012 draft class to receive an extension, ahead of the Colts' Andrew Luck, Washington's Robert Griffin III and Russell Wilson of Seattle.
