Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer held back no punches when he was recently asked for an update regarding Sharrif Floyd's injury status.

Floyd appeared in the first game this season for the Minnesota Vikings and opted for surgery on his knee right after. Back in September, Zimmer made a strong comment regarding Floyd not being around the Vikings.

Fast forward a couple of months and there is still no details about when Floyd could return for the Vikings. Better yet, Zimmer made it clear that he has no idea. But the true statement of the day came when Zimmer was asked why Floyd wasn't put on IR.

Zimmer continues to share his frustrations with Floyd in the media. Floyd has, at this point, not responded to these comments.

Floyd is currently in the process of rehabbing his knee from surgery that took place back in September. Tom Johnson and Shamar Stephen have been playing in place of Floyd.
