Houston is getting ready to host the Super Bowl in a matter of a few days, but that hasn't stopped Minnesota from getting ready for next year.

The Vikings announced today that the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee (MSBHC) has 30 digital countdown clocks that will be shown around Minneapolis counting down to the big day. Next week will also feature a variety of different events surrounding the "handoff" of hosting the big game.

Next week's events will also feature a kickoff party, launch of a 52-weeks of giving program, and a rally at the Mall of America.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee will officially "handoff" the game ball launching the 52-week countdown on Monday, February 6th.
