According to reports out of Minneapolis, the Minnesota Twins have hired two new coaches to their staff under new manager Paul Molitor.

The Minnesota Twins have hired third base coach Gene Glynn and assistant hitting coach Rudy Hernandez.

Both men received one-year contracts according to the team.

Glynn over the last three years was the Minnesota Twins AAA affiliate manager for the Rochester Red Wings and Hernandez has been in the Twins organization for the last 14 years and most recently was a hitting coach for their Gulf Coast League team.

Last week the Twinkies retained Tom Brunansky as the hitting coach, while openings still currently remain for bullpen coach, first base coach and bench coach.

Many believe that Molitor will go with a experienced coach as his bench coach to add stability to Paul's first year as manager.
