Minnesota Twins Continuing to Hold Off the Indians in AL Central

The Minnesota Twins just lost 2 of 3 with the Cleveland Indians, but it really doesn't matter as they still hold a 5.5 game lead in the AL Central.

Minnesota has been the cream of the crop in the AL Central all year and outside a three week stretch where Cleveland played a cup cake schedule, the Indians really haven't challenged the Twins all year long.

Now with only 19 games left, the Twins will be closing out this division sooner than later.

After a upcoming three game set at home against the Nationals, Minnesota will travel to Cleveland when they can essentially close out the division.

This has been a great summer to be a Twins fan and the next few weeks that celebration will extend into October when Minnesota can really put a mark on this season with a deep run in the playoffs.
