The Minnesota Twins entered the month of May with a lot of momentum and certainly a lot more optimism than they are feeling right now.

After losing their final two games of their set to the Chicago White Sox earlier last week, they end up getting swept by the Boston Red Sox over the weekend.

The Twins found themselves with really no timely hitting all weekend and concluded the set vs. the Red Sox by losing 5-1 on Sunday.

Sunday's loss also came after a 3 hour rain delay that certainly added insult to injury.

John Lackey picked up his second win of the season for the Red Sox, while Pedro Hernandez for the Twins fell to 2-1 with the loss.
