After a great start to his career, all of it in Minnesota with the Vikings, on Tuesday, Brian Robison signed up to stay in Minnesota for four more years.

Terms weren't disclosed, but a source told ESPN.com's John Clayton that the deal is worth $28.3 million and Robison will receive a $5 million signing bonus and have a guarantee of $12.15 million.

Robison said negotiations heated up between the Vikings and his agent, Vann McElroy, during the bye week, and he signed the deal Tuesday morning.

Really one of the only constants over the last few seasons has been the play of the defensive line, Robison clearly a part of that success.

Now he'll be with the Vikings for four more years and we'll see if the defensive can continue to have the success it has been having with Robison as a piece of the puzzle.
