The Minnesota Vikings had a rough day in New Orleans. Not only did the team suffer a 20-9 loss, but the team also lost a few key players including Kyle Rudolph.

It was announced today that Rudolph will miss roughly the next six weeks of the NFL season. The third year TE has 16 touchdowns and 1,124 receiving yards in his career. The loss of Rudolph for a few weeks will take away an extra target for Teddy Bridgewater.

Bridgewater will remain the starter for the Vikings going forward as it was also announced today that starting quarterback Matt Cassel suffered an injury to his foot that will keep him out indefinitely.

The Vikings will return to TCF Bank Stadium this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
