With week-9 of the college football season here that's just part of an action packed weekend in sports. College volleyball, the World Series, hockey and the NFL will keep you busy.

First up today is game-3 of the World Series as the Los Angeles Dodgers hope home field and their fans will change the course of this series. Boston has won the first two games. Game-2 will be Saturday. Coverage on ESPN 99.1 begins at 6:00 PM.

The Herd is in action tonight with as the Sioux Falls Stampede will host the Sioux City Musketeers at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Puck drops at 7:05 PM.

The South Dakota State University women's volleyball team will take on Denver University tonight in the annual Pink Match. The goal of the match is to raise awareness of breast cancer. The players have a fundraiser website set up for donations. The team will wear pink at the event. The match is at the Sanford Pentagon at 7:00 PM. All of the money raised from the team will go to the Edith Sanford Breast Center for research and patient care.

On Saturday, October 27 we have wall to wall college football:

Augustana University travels to Concordia-St. Paul. University of Sioux Falls is at home against Upper Iowa. South Dakota State at Illinois State and #1 North Dakota State plays the Coyotes in the Dakota Dome. We bring you the Huskers on Saturday as they host Bethune-Cookman. Coverage starts at 1030 AM.

Turning to the NFL the Baltimore Ravens meet up with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday with a 12:00 PM kickoff. Following that game we join the Green Bay Packers who are at the LA Rams.

And if necessary game-5 of the World Series Sunday after the Packers-Rams game.
