Nike Has Dropped Pacquiao after Homosexual Comments

Nike has cut ties with professional boxer Manny Pacquiao after he made degrading comments towards homosexual.

"Have you seen any animal having male-to-male or female-to-female relations?" Pacquiao said on a Filipino television station earlier this week. "If you have male-to-male or female-to-female, then people are worse than animals."

Nike made their official statement on Wednesday about Pacquiao's comments.

“We find Manny Pacquiao’s comments abhorrent,” Nike said Wednesday in a statement. "Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community."

Pacquiao apologized with a Facebook post and a Tweet on Tuesday before Nike made their official statement.
