STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Top-seeded Penn State is looking to reclaim the NCAA women's volleyball title.

A year after seeing its record run of four straight national championships come to an end, the Nittany Lions surge into regional play this weekend against Kentucky.

Penn State (31-2) won the Big Ten this year by four games. The conference itself has had a pretty impressive showing in the tourney so far with six teams including Penn State among the 16 teams remaining.

Unseeded Michigan State pulled off an upset last week by beating defending-champion UCLA on its home floor in the second round to set up an intrastate regional semifinal against Michigan

But the next top three seeds after Penn State - Stanford, Texas and Nebraska - also have advanced to regionals. So, nothing will be easy.
