The NBA G League Eastern Conference playoff race still has five slots yet to determine. There’s two weeks left to gobble up postseason opportunity.

Westchester Knicks: 29-16*

They’re in! First to clinch even despite losing twice to the Nets. Incentive still there to win with a rough road schedule this week. Tuesday at Erie, Friday at Windy City and at Grand Rapids on Saturday. The 905 is one and a half games behind.

Fort Wayne Mad Ants: 26-18*

Texas was rough, but downing Delaware keeps the Mad Ants on track to clinch a division title. A crushing blow in that effort can be made Tuesday night at Grand Rapids, their closest pursuer. This weekend Fort Wayne hosts Canton on Friday and Erie on Saturday.

Erie BayHawks: 26-19*

Now emerging as a playoff lock, Erie has taken their last five battles to secure a winning season. Three playoff contenders coming up starting Tuesday at home with the Knicks, Thursday at Grand Rapids and at Fort Wayne on Saturday.

Raptors 905: 27-17

With a better record than the division winners, they want to keep winning to possibly overtake Westchester and get a top 2 seed. A home date with Greensboro followed by a back-to-back at Northern Arizona and South Bay this weekend rounds out the Raptors’ schedule.

Long Island Nets: 25-20

Impressive sweep of the Knicks last week. The loss to Delaware was a blow. Sitting at number five with two weeks left puts the ball in Nets’ court. Friday is their next time to grace the court at home with Lakeland then another home contest with Greensboro on Sunday.

Grand Rapids Drive: 23-21

They have done well to get in the inside of the playoff window. Two teams are ready to replace the Drive should they falter. The teams they face this week are all coming to the DeltaPlex, but are also all are ahead of them in the standings. Tuesday Fort Wayne, Thursday Erie, and Saturday Westchester will be a true test.

Windy City Bulls: 23-22

Where did they come from? After the All-Star Break some would have considered them an afterthought. They have won six straight, True Believer. We shall see if their hot hand continues at home against Westchester and Memphis on Saturday.
