The Spurs have added another big veteran free agent to their team after Pau Gasol confirmed he will be joining San Antonio Tuesday.

Gasol at age 35 has agreed to a two-year deal that is worth over $30 million and will be given player option in year two.

It's been reported that current center Tim Duncan has been leaning towards retirement this offseason after turning 40 last April.

Gasol made the all-star game in 2016 but was a replacement for forward Jimmy Butler who had a knee injury.

In 72 of the 82 games the Bulls played in last season, Gasol averaged 16.5 ppg, 11 rpg and 2 blkpg.
