The Professional Bull Riders will be making their return to action with fans in Sioux Falls in July.

This event is the first event on the sports calendar with the intention of having fans and in the case of this event in Sioux Falls, they plan to fill the event center to 1/3 capacity.

As sports return to action across the country, each league and organization will continue to set requirements when it comes to participants and fans as they navigate the COVID-19 landscape.

The PBR looks to be a trendsetter in finding a way to incorporate fans as many organizations have chosen to start again with no fans.

Last week on my show Overtime, I had a chance to talk with PBR CEO Sean Gleason to talk about the event and how they plan to accommodate fans in the stands.

As you can hear, Gleason is excited about the opportunity to bring fans back to the events while also being very cognitive of the current environment and trying to put on as safe as an event as possible.

Their hope is that with the protocols in place, they will be able to continue to hold events moving forward in similar capacities.

The PBR events in Sioux Falls will take place at the Denny Sanford Premier Center from July 10-12 and tickets will go on sale June 5.
