Relocated Sioux Falls Eatery Has Another Close Call with Fire One Year Later
This is not the way to celebrate an anniversary. On Christmas Day, 2013 a fire at VIP Nails at 57th and Marion Road spread to the adjoining Zaroty’s location in a strip mall at that location.
After the blaze destroyed both businesses, Zaroty’s was able to find a landing spot one mile north at 41st and Marion Road. The business reopened this past summer at its new location.
Fast forward to December 29, 2014 as a fire in a dryer at the Fast-n-Fresh Laundromat adjacent to the new Zaroty’s location cause a bit of a stir. The Zaroty Facebook page made light of the news and spread the word of the minor fire. Business was usual at Zaroty’s one day later.
The dryer in question at the laundromat was on the south wall and was slightly scorched plus evidence of smoke was still floating in the air. Fast-n-Fresh was also open for business despite the damage.
