Each year athletes from around the country are nominated to participate in the McDonalds All American Games. This year, Roosevelt High School's Tagyn Larson has received a nomination.

The 6'1 senior, and Iowa recruit, is one of 823 high school athletes nominated for the event in Chicago. According to the event, the nominations are from high school coaches, athletic directors, principals, and members of the McDonalds All American Games Selection Committee.

Larson has been nominated along with St. Thomas More's Alexys Swedlund. They are the only two nominated out of South Dakota.

The McDonalds All American Games Selection Committee will announce the 24 athletes that will participate in the event on January 28.

If Larson or Swedlund is selected for the event, they will play on April 1st at 5:30pm in Chicago. The game will be live on ESPNU.
