Schilling Named NSIC South Player Of The Week Again

In a week where the Augustana men's basketball team fell to Northern State and saw their own Daniel Jansen become the all time leading scorer in school history, it was another Viking that took home the NSIC Player of the Week honor.

Senior forward Casey Schilling averaged over 27 points per game, 17.5 rebounds and over 4 assists per contest this last weekend and took home this week's NSIC South Division Player of the Week award.

This is the eighth time in his college career that Schilling has received the player of the week honor and the third time this year.

His stat line from Friday in a loss to Northern State were flat out sick as he ended up with 29 points and 22 rebounds while adding 3 assists and 2 steals.

Up next for the Vikings, will be two road games against Southwest Minnesota State on Friday then a cross town game with the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday.
