BROOKINGS, SD -- South Dakota State will induct four new members into the Jackrabbit Sports Hall of Fame on October 26.

The Class of 2013 includes Kim Fordham Lien, women’s track and field; Marty Johnson, men’s tennis; Tim Johnson, baseball and Dan Sonnek, football.

Their induction will bring the number of Jackrabbit Sports Hall of Fame members to 68.

Along with the Hall of Fame ceremonies, former Sioux Falls Washington High School football coach Brian Hermanson will be honored with the Ralph Ginn Award for Coaching Excellence. Hermanson led the Warriors to six consecutive Class AA state title games from 2007-12. The Warriors won championships in 2009, 2010 and 2012.  Hermanson, a former letter winner for the Jacks, retired from coaching following the 2012 season.

The Hall of Fame and Ralph Ginn Award ceremonies will be held Oct. 26, prior to SDSU's football game against Northern Iowa.
