SDSU had a lot of expectations this season including winning their first-ever FCS title, but those hopes came to an end on Saturday.

SDSU lost at home to UNI 13-10 at Dana J Dykehouse Stadium in Brookings.

The Jacks struck first and were off to a 10-0 lead after one quarter but didn't score again the rest of the game.

UNI was able to march down the field using five minutes of the clock in the fourth quarter to kick the winning field goal with 2:10 remaining in the game.

SDSU accomplished a lot in the 2019 season and even saw ESPN's College Gameday come to campus, but this loss is going to sting throughout the whole offseason.

Hopefully, the Jacks can use this loss as motivation to get even better this offseason and potentially overcome their playoff shortcomings next year and contend for a championship.
