Former Jackrabbit Dale Moss will not be starting the NFL regular season with the Green Bay Packers.

According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Moss was one of six players let go in advance of tonight's cut deadline.

Silverstein did say that Moss is a 'strong candidate' for the spot on the Packers practice squad.

The Brandon native had 1 reception for 15 yards in last night's Packers pre-season win over the Chiefs.

Overall in the pre-season Moss had 5 catches for 51 yards.
