I had a chance to visit with Dusty Zomer on Sunday at Huset's Speedway before the September 7 season finale. He recently took over the driving duties for the Buffalo Wild Wings sprint car team.

And talk about great success, they just had won at Grand Forks, North Dakota and also at Superior, Wisconsin.

This isn't the first time I've interviewed Dusty. He's been driving sprint cars for about 10 years.

But our history goes beyond that even. I first interviewed him on one of my racing shows when he was 11 years old on live radio at a time when he was one of the nations hottest kids racing in go-carts.

Dusty told me, 'I really appreciate the chance to drive for the Buffalo Wild Wings team.' He added, 'I'm having a lot of fun.'

The famous #82 car has been around for a long time. It is owned by Todd and Susan LaHaise. Greg McCormick heads up the team as crew chief.
