The two suspects in the Friday morning shooting of a 19-year-old woman have been arrested.

According to a police department news release, 20-year-old Kevin Santos was lodged in the county jail on multiple counts of aggravated assault and attempt to commit a felony with a firearm.

The second suspect, 25-year-old Eugene Willis Garcia Jr. was also lodged on multiple counts of aggravated assault, including assault with a dangerous weapon with extreme indifference, and attempts to commit serious bodily injury.  Garcia was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The female victim was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She was described as an acquaintance of the two men.
