The Sioux Falls Skyforce continued their winning ways with a 106-99 win over the Ft. Wayne Mad Ants on Wednesday night.    The Skyforce (17-11) have won seven of their last eight and solidify their status as the best road team in the NBA Development League.

Seven points might have been the difference in the final score, but the Mad Ants (14-16) were down 20 with 5 minutes left and trailed by double digits for most of the second half.  Not helping was the absence of Ft. Wayne’s Luke Harangody the January Player of the Month in the D-League.  A knee injury left the Notre Dame alum in street clothes and his 21 point and 13 rebound per game average would have been of good use.

Fresh off their co-performers of the week accolade, Demetris Nichols and Donald Sloan backed it up with 22 and 19 points respectively with Sloan adding 10 assists.  Dexter Pittman, Mike Davis, Mychel Thompson, Damian Saunders and Gabe Pruitt all scored in double digits and helped force 26 turnovers on the Mad Ants.

Before heading back to Sioux Falls, the Skyforce have two more games on their trip.  Friday and Saturday the Erie BayHawks will be the host.  Meanwhile Ft. Wayne will host Rio Grande Valley on Friday then head to Iowa on Saturday.
