The Sioux Falls Stampede and Denny Sanford PREMIER Center will host the 2017 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game next January.

Members of the Stampede and PREMIER Center made the announcement on Thursday afternoon. The events will start on January 9, 2017 with a luncheon and a speaker. NHL scouts will also conduct on-ice and off-ice testing that day. January 10th will feature a skills competition, and the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. All events will take place at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

Dubuque and Omaha have hosted the event the previous two years. This is the third consecutive year that a USHL town will host the event.

The Stampede return to the ice tomorrow night against the Tri-City Storm in Game 3 of their Western Conference Semi-final series. More information about both the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game and the game against Tri-City can be found on the Stampede's website.
