SIOUX FALLS, SD -- The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced Monday that the team has acquired forward Mike Davis from the Erie BayHawks in exchange for center Keith Benson and guard Nick Covington. Davis was acquired by Erie from the Reno Bighorns in a separate trade earlier Monday.

Selected fifth overall in the 2012 NBA Development League Draft, Davis averaged 9.3 points and 6.6 rebounds in four seasons (138 games) at the University of Illinois. The 6-9, 225-pound forward earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors after averaging 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds as a senior.

The Skyforce home opener is set for Saturday, Nov. 24 against the Iowa Energy.
