It’s a two for one affair involving the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the preseason.

Since the NBA Development League season ended, teams in The Association have scooped up opportunities to have an exclusive affiliate.  Only one team, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, remains without a one-to-one partnership.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Iowa Energy now have a hybrid arrangement and the Griz feel obliged to show off their new partnership.

In a press release, the Grizzlies announced their plans to host an exhibition contest between the Energy and the Skyforce at FedExForum in Memphis on Saturday November 8.

After the D-League tune up concludes, fans can stick around and watch that night’s NBA regular season road contest between the Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks.

It will be a rocket ride of constant motion for NBADL teams once the calendar turns.

November 1:  NBADL Draft

November 2:  Training Camps Open

November 14:  NBADL Season Begins

Teams will need to make quick decisions on which 10 players to use in their opening day lineup.  The Skyforce begin their season on the road against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on November 15.  The home schedule starts with a Saturday night tussle with Iowa on Saturday November 22.
