On Tuesday night at the Bob Carpenter Sports Convocation Center on the University of Delaware campus, the Sioux Falls Skyforce outlasted the Delaware 87ers 121-111.

For the second straight game on this four-game east coast swing, Sioux Falls (15-11) owned the last 6 minutes of the contest.  Of course if you consider that Delaware (10-15) only took a couple of brief leads in the third quarter, the case could be made that the Skyforce controlled the game.  More accurately, the men in black made more clutch plays at crucial moments to pull out the win.

The ‘Force remain unbeaten since the NBA Development League Showcase by picking up their third straight win.  Shawn Jones was the bulwark of the visiting team leading the team with 29 points and 20 rebounds.  The excessive board total including 9 on the offensive glass is a mark not reached in a game by a Skyforce player in almost two years.  You can see the lion's share of Jones' good deeds on the clip below.  You can also see how Scotty Hopson did his part with 27 points.  Fuquan Edwin also filled the gaps with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks, while he posted his second double-double of the season.

For the Sevens, D.J. Seeley led the effort notching 25 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds followed by the 24 tallies from Jared Cunningham.  Having that performance from those two players is not a surprise as Cunningham is barely two weeks removed from playing with the Los Angeles Clippers while Seeley is among the top prospects in the D-League.

Delaware will next grace the court on Saturday with a road contest against Grand Rapids.  One night prior, Sioux Falls will play game one of a back-to-back with the Westchester Knicks.

Shawn Jones posts career highs in points and rebounds by cleaning up near the rim.

Hopson goes 10-17 from the floor, 4-8 from downtown.
