South Dakota Governor’s Cup Set on Lake Oahe This Weekend

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — The South Dakota Governor's Cup walleye tournament is on tap on Lake Oahe this weekend.

The Capital Journal reports that anglers launch from Spring Creek Resort on Saturday, competing for more than $32,000 in prize money awarded to the top finishers.

The champion also is awarded a South Dakota Governor's Cup ring.

The final weigh-ins start at 3:00 PM Sunday. It's the 41st year for the tournament.
