There is a brand new number one team in Class AA boys. Plus some movement in Class A boys.

It was an interesting week for Class AA boys. The top teams are starting to separate at the top, however the field continues to be wide open. Sioux Falls O'Gorman is currently on a five game winning streak and have secured the top spot in this week's poll. The previous top team Watertown has fallen to second following a loss to Roosevelt last Tuesday.

Class AA Boys

Class AA girls continues to have a divide at the top between Washington and Aberdeen Central. Both teams remain at the top two rankings. Lincoln picked up a big win over O'Gorman this past week moving them up to third, while Roosevelt has sparked a decent run the last two weeks to remain in the top five.

Sioux Falls Christian has secured the top spot in Class A after being tied last week with Dell Rapids. Also new this week in Class A is Clark-Willow Lake who has entered into the top five. Sioux Valey and St. Thomas More remain ranked this week.

The top five teams for Class A girls remains unchanged from last week, but there is some movement within those five. We now have a tie for 3rd between McCook Central-Montrose and Sioux Valley. Elk Point-Jefferson fell to fifth after being ranked fourth last week. St. Thomas More and Mt. Vernon-Plankinton remain in the top two spots.

Warner continues to be the top team in Class B this week with a perfect 12-0 record. Canistota took the biggest fall dropping to fifth. Woley-Wessington, White River, and Langford Area still remain ranked.

Class B Girls remains almost the same as last week with one change at the fifth position. Viborg-Hurley, lead by Abby Hora and Kirsten Paetow, is back in the top five following wins over Centerville and Platte-Geddes.
