South Dakota State Getting Ready for NCAA Baseball Tournament [PHOTOS]
South Dakota State's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division I Baseball begins Friday night in Eugene, Oregon, as the Summit League Tournament champs play the host Ducks at 8:05pm Central.
The Jackrabbits are 35-22 overall, Oregon is the number eight team in the nation with a 45-14 record. Games from the Eugene Regional will be aired on ESPN3.com.
The regional schedule:
Friday, May 31 (all times Central)
* Game 1: No. 2 Rice (Texas) (41-17) vs. No. 3 San Francisco (Calif.) (34-22), 4:00pm
* Game 2: No. 1 Oregon (45-14) vs. No. 4 South Dakota State (35-22), 8:00pm
Saturday, June 1
* Game 3: First-round losers, 4:00pm
* Game 4: First-round winners, 8:00pm
Sunday, June 2
*Game 5: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 loser, 2:00pm
*Game 6: Game 4 winner vs. Game 5 winner, 6:00pm
Monday, June 3
*Game 7: Second championship game (if necessary), 8:00pm
