Chalk it up to another great matchup and another great game at the Sanford Pentagon after Wisconsin and #20 St. Mary's squared off on Tuesday night.

It took Overtime, but St. Mary's was able to hold off Wisconsin, 65-63 in Sioux Falls.

The game was a back and forth affair that saw both teams have multiple leads, but it was a couple of stops defensively in overtime for the Gaels that allowed them to get the win.

St. Mary's was led by senior Jordan Ford who scored 26 points while the Badgers got 22 points from Nate Reuvers to lead the way for Wisconsin.

This was a one-off game between two non-conference squads that will find this game helpful in March when it comes to the strength of schedule and pure preparation to face teams outside their conference.

There will be another big-time college basketball game at the Sanford Pentagon this Saturday as Oklahoma and Minnesota will square off at 7 PM on the Big10 Network.

Tickets can be found at Ticketmaster and StubHub for Saturdays game.
