South Dakota State is one win away from finishing the first half of the 2014 Summit League season unbeaten.  All that stands in their way is the team that took them down to the wire in the conference tournament championship game last season, South Dakota.

The Jackrabbits ran their current conference win streak to six Thursday night, with an 11-point win over Denver, the first home game for SDSU in three weeks.

South Dakota State played good defense against the Pioneers, holding them 18 points under their average, while knocking down 10 3-pointers on the offensive end of the floor.

Against USD Sunday, the Jacks will be taking on a team that's won two straight after dropping their first four in league play.

South Dakota has strung together two big first halves in wins over Omaha and North Dakota State, and has their leading player, Nicole Seekamp, back in the lineup, after she missed time earlier this month with an ankle injury.

SDSU coach Aaron Johnston knows how important Seekamp is to USD's success:

Tipoff is 1:00pm Sunday at Frost Arena in Brookings.
