Sioux Falls Standoff Ends Peacefully

The Sioux Falls Police Department received information Thursday that a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide in Chamberlain was seen driving in Sioux Falls.

During the course of the investigation, Kent Davidson, 36, was found at an apartment in the 500 block of West 16th Street.

Davidson was considered armed and dangerous, so the Sioux Falls SWAT team was sent to the residence. After a lengthy standoff, Davidson surrendered peacefully to authorities.
