So far, July is turning out much better than June for the Sioux Falls Canaries. After winning just two of their last 16 games in June, the Canaries have gone 2-0 in July and have won three straight following Wednesday night's 9-6 defeat of the Kansas City T-Bones at Community America Ballpark

Tim Pahuta picked up in July right where he left off in June. Fresh off being named the American Association Batter of the Month for June, the slugger belted a three-run home run in the Sioux Falls Canaries first July game to lead the Birds to a 7-1 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones on Tuesday night.
