Kyle Larson showed he could beat NASCAR's big boys in the Nationwide Series. Now he hopes to do the same on the Sprint Cup circuit.

Brad Keselowski snapped a 37-race winless streak Saturday night by chasing down Kasey Kahne in the closing laps at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Keselowski became the first non-Chase driver to win a Chase race since Kahne at Phoenix in 2011.

His dirty work over, Austin Dillon dumped the black clump of dirt in a small jar, a nice souvenir for a victory four decades in the making. Dillon left the rest of the field in his dust Wednesday night to win NASCAR's return to dirt racing in the Mudsummer Classic Truck Series races at Eldora Speedway.

The rain drops splashed down on the pavement at Michigan International Speedway about an hour after Regan Smith's victory Saturday. Too late to interrupt the race -- and that was fine with Smith and crew chief Greg Ives. Smith won the Nationwide Series race, holding off Kyle Larson in the final 10 laps and more than doubling his lead in the points standings.

Kyle Larson stalked Kyle Busch over the closing laps around Bristol Motor Speedway waiting to make a move. It came as they closed in on the finish line, and Larson made a last-gasp push on the high side that fell just short as Busch held on for his second Nationwide Series win of the season.
