The Minnesota Twins pre-emptively postponed their game against the Miami Marlins, due to approaching inclement weather. The Twins will play the Marlins instead on Tuesday night as the second half of a split doubleheader.

When Minnesota Twins right-hander Vance Worley threw his first changeup of spring training Friday, Kyle Skipworth hit a broken-bat double. So it went for Worley, who was satisfied with his pitching but unhappy with the results in the Twins’ 8-7 victory over the Miami Marlins.

Former major league catcher Mike Redmond has been hired as manager of the Miami Marlins to replace Ozzie Guillen, who was fired last week.
