South Dakota State's Nate Wolters was named to the John Wooden Award Preseason Top 50. The list is comprised of 50 student-athletes who, based on last year's individual performance and team records, are the early front-runners for college basketball's most prestigious honor.
South Dakota State is the overwhelming favorite to win the 2012-2013 Summit League Basketball Championship according to the annual preseason poll of league coaches, SIDs and media. Jackrabbit guard Nate Wolters, the 2012 Summit League Tournament MVP and an AP honorable mention All-America selection, was the preseason choice for Player of the Year.
