So many times this season, the Minnesota Timberwolves failed in close games down the stretch. On Tuesday night, they turned the tables on the Phoenix Suns.

Goran Dragic had 26 points, nine assists and six rebounds and Gerald Green’s baseline jumper with 3.9 seconds left lifted the Phoenix Suns to a stunning 104-103 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

The Suns have officially hired Jeff Hornacek as their new coach.

Ricky Rubio had a career-high 24 points, 10 assists and five steals, and J.J. Barea scored 16 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 105-93 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

Andrei Kirilenko and the Minnesota Timberwolves were content to let the Phoenix Suns settle for jumpers and dig an ever-deepening hole. Kirilenko scored 20 points and the Timberwolves routed the slumping Suns 117-86 on Friday night to snap a nine-game road losing streak.

Season-lows seemed to come every quarter. So did missed shots, passes sailing into the stands, grimaces from coaches. Phoenix came up with just enough plays to pull out an 84-83 overtime win against Minnesota, ending a momentum-swinging game between two of the NBA’s worst teams.

Tuesday Night had some interesting events occur at Staples Center during the Lakers and Suns game. First of all Kobe Bryant was held to only 4 points during the entire game, yet the Lakers won. But even funnier than Kobe only scoring four points was Will Ferrel (Dressed As A Usher) escorting one of the greatest Lakers of all-time in Shaq out of his court-side seat as he was "Asked to Leave''.

Another NBA coach rides off into the sunset, sort of speaking. The Phoenix Suns and head coach Alvin Gentry have parted ways.

Nikola Pekovic had 28 points and 11 rebounds and Kevin Love added 23 points and 18 boards to lift the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 111-107 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.
