The Sioux Falls Canaries continued their hot play at the Birdcage as they used a complete game from starting pitcher Kyle Ruwe to go with a five-run third inning from the bats to top the St. Paul Saints 7-3 Saturday evening.

A clutch fourth inning by the Sioux Falls Canaries’ bats gave the home team everything they needed Friday night as they kicked off a three-game series versus the St. Paul Saints with a 4-3 victory at the Birdcage.

After 10 straight losses, the Canaries have started a winning streak. Sioux Falls scored five runs in the final four innings to post a 7-6 win over St. Paul Wednesday night and take the three game series from the Saints.

The Sioux Falls Canaries bats exploded for seven unanswered runs in the seventh and eighth innings, and ace Ben Moore did the rest leading the Birds back into the win column with a 10-5 victory over the St. Paul Saints.

The St. Paul Saints scored four runs in the eighth inning to break a 2-2 tie and defeat the Sioux Falls Canaries 6-2 on Monday night. The loss extends the Birds' losing skid to 10 games.

Sioux Falls starter Joe Bircher needed one good pitch to get out of a one-out, bases loaded jam in the seventh inning. He got the groundball he needed, but a throwing error allowed two runs to score, giving the St. Paul Saints the 3-2 lead, and a win over the Canaries on Sunday evening.

Kyle Vazquez returned to the mound and stifled Saints batters over six shutout innings to lead the Sioux Falls Canaries to a 4-1 win over St. Paul Saturday night at Midway Stadium.

The Sioux Falls Canaries snapped a five-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over the St. Paul Saints on Friday night behind a strong pitching performance from starter Kyle Ruwe at Midway Stadium.

The Sioux Falls Canaries put together their best offensive night of the season, posting eight runs on 12 hits against the St. Paul Saints. But it wasn't enough for the Birds to end their early season slump, falling to the Saints 10-8.
