Former Sioux Falls Stampede goaltender Stephon Williams was selected by the New York Islanders in the fourth round of the 2013 NHL Draft Sunday night. Williams becomes the 27th former Stampede player to be drafted by a National Hockey League team.

Amanda Kessel scored twice, and the Gophers beat Boston University 6-3 on Sunday to become the first undefeated team in the 13-year history of NCAA women’s hockey, and run their winning streak to 49 straight games.
