In a matter of four minutes you can see over 6,000 different hits mapped out between two star Major League Baseball players.

Ichiro Suzuki and Albert Pujols both have over 3,000 hits each for their fantastic careers, and now Darren Willman, Director of Baseball Research and Development for MLB, has gone to the extreme to map out where every hit went.

Baseball nerds unite!

The results for each map shows consistency for both athletes and the hot zones for each. Ichiro, to no surprise, has more pure hits compared to Pujols. Pujols has many more home runs, especially to left field. Ichiro has more of a range also when it comes to singles.

Pujols has just surpassed 3,000 hits on his career and currently sits at 3,002 as of May 7, 2018. Ichiro is at 3,089.

Both players could be on the verge of the hall of fame some day. Ichiro is a 10-time all-star, and former American League MVP. Pujols is also a 10-time all-star, two-time World Series Champion, and three-time National League MVP.
