Tulsa didn’t exactly seize control, but a third quarter spurt put the 66ers in the lead. That advantage held for the rest of the game in a 99-92 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce at SpiritBank Event Center Friday night in front of 3,447 patrons.

Both teams had their time out front as Sioux Falls (11-7) took an early 14-7 lead with Tulsa lingering at arm’s length for the balance of the half. Roles reversed during the third quarter as the 66ers (5-14) put together a 19-5 run with the Skyforce unable to overcome. A DeAndre Liggins jumper tied the game at 83 midway through the final stanza, but six straight points for the 66ers put the game away.

Mario Little was instrumental in keeping Tulsa out front during the game’s ending stages and ended with 27 points. Sioux Falls was paced by Justin Hamilton’s 20 points with 11 rebounds and 18 points provided by Henry Walker.

Adding to the intrigue was a pair of former NBA players who suited up against their former NBADL Teams. Former Sioux Falls standout Reggie Williams who is trying to work his way back to the NBA after 4 years in the league scored 19 plus 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals against his former team. Liggins who played last year with Tulsa on assignment from Oklahoma City had a line of 10 points, 7 assists 4 steals and a rebound. The two teams will take to the court for game 5 of 8 in the season series Saturday night.
