Bleacher Report and NFL Lead Writer Ty Schalter joined Jeff Thurn on Thursday's edition of Overtime.Blake Bortles was chosen at No. 3 by Jacksonville, Johnny Manziel at No. 22 by Cleveland, and Teddy Bridgewater at No. 32 last night. Schalter (@tyschalter) discusses who he likes the most out of the second-tier of signal callers (Zach Mettenberger, Tom Savage, Jimmy Garoppolo):

"You honestly, this is kind of an odd name I like a lot. Aaron Murray as a developmental guy out of Georgia. He's got the one thing, and some of the same reason I like Bridgewater out of the first group. He's got the ability to make good decisions quickly and deliver a catchable ball to the open man. That is the difference making thing in the NFL. Same thing compares to Bridgewater. He's even a little bit smaller than Bridgewater and has some of the same concerns. But as opposed to looking at a guy in the top five, you are looking at a guy in the third round, maybe. Especially, as a developmental quarterback, build himself a little bit, and get used to a new system, that sort of thing. As a developmental prospect, I really, really like him. Savage looks like an all-world guy until you throw 10-15 yards down the field. He's got the frame, throws a very nice ball, but down field accuracy, I have big concerns about. With Mettenberger, a lot of teams are concerned about his behavioral history. Now, his diluted sample, and his medical concerns. Mettenberger has a lot of baggage right now. He can play, and there's no doubt about that. Jimmy Garoppolo is kind of the wild card. He was invited to the draft, I don't see him going in the first round, but it takes one team to fall in love. Especially, it looks like you keep hearing more, and more about Houston, Cleveland, and these teams that have a second first round pick or high second round pick. They're saying we'll do what the Chargers did with Drew Brees and LaDainian Tomlinson. Get a stud early if you're not sure with the quarterback. Come around with a second first-rounder or top of the second round, and snag him there. So, I think your absolutely right to focus on that second-tier of quarterbacks. Especially if the first quarterbacks do go more early and then you are going to have teams like the Bengals or teams more solid or teams like the Lions that have a quarterback in place that are going to be there who need a back-up. They let their back-up Shaun Hill walk in free agency and don't really have anyone behind him. So, that next class of guys is going to get real hot in the second round."
