GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota men's hockey team is taking on Minnesota Duluth in the semifinals of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference Frozen Faceoff.

The game is Friday evening at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The second semifinal features St. Cloud State against Denver.

The winners advance to the championship game on Saturday night.

UND is on an eight-game winning streak after sweeping Colorado College in the NCHC quarterfinals last weekend. The Fighting Hawks are ranked first in both national polls.

The team is hoping to make another run to the NCAA Frozen Four. UND is seeking its eighth national title.
