GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota has announced a five-year partnership for sports broadcasts with KFGO radio and Midwest Radio-Fargo Moorhead.

The Grand Forks university says the deal will expand Fighting Hawks athletic coverage in the Fargo market to include men's hockey, football, and men's and women's basketball. Hockey and football will air on KFGO, and basketball and weekly coaches shows on KVOX, known as AM 740 The Fan.

The daily program "UND Sports Today" will air on both stations.

KFGO and Fan Sports Director Jack Michaels will be the play-by-play voice of UND football.

The partnership begins with the upcoming sports season.
