The University of Sioux Falls (5-0, 5-0 NSIC, 1-0 NSIC South) jumped two spots in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) DII Poll this week to rank No. 23. Receiving 112 votes Monday, the Cougars enjoy their second straight week in the Polls.

USF defeated Southwest Minnesota State University in Sioux Falls, S.D. Saturday 41-22, making them one of two conference teams left undefeated.

Minnesota-Duluth fell to No. 10 this week, following a 51-49 loss at St. Cloud State, while, NSIC South foe Minnesota State won their matchup with Concordia, 30-10, last weekend to improve to 5-0 and jump from No. 15 to No. 12 this week.

USF will travel to Winona State (4-1, 4-1, 1-0 NSIC South) Saturday, October 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
