It was a big night for the University of Sioux Falls at the Sanford Pentagon on Saturday night as they swept Augustana on their home court.

USF started the night off with a win for their women's team, as the Cougars had a huge fourth quarter to beat the Vikings.

Augustana had a seven-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but a 27 point quarter from USF was enough to give them the 76-72.

USF moves to 13-2 and 6-2 in the NSIC and Augie moves to 6-6 and will try to snap a four-game losing streak this week.

The nightcap saw the two men's teams take the floor and USF really controlled the game from the start.

Augie didn't shoot the ball well and USF took advantage at every turn.

Freshman Jack Thompson scored 20 points and helped lead USF to a big win over their in-city rival.

The Cougars now have a 7-1 record in the NSIC and 11-3 overall.

Augustana falls to 6-2 in the NSIC and 11-3 overall as well.
